Meet the operator behind Meridian.

I've spent about sixteen years doing one thing, really: figuring out why big operations run badly, and then fixing them. Most of that was in the corporate world, leading transformation programs. I modernized large contact-center operations, rolled out automation and AI across a lot of different business lines, and spent a ton of time untangling the kind of too-many-systems messes that most people just learn to live with. I managed hundreds of people across a few countries, ran budgets in the tens of millions, and merged teams together after acquisitions. But honestly, the org-chart stuff was never the part I cared about. What I loved was pulling up a chair next to someone on the front line, watching exactly where their day fell apart, and building something that actually made it easier.

That's the thing that pulls me in. I'm an operator and a builder at heart. I can't look at a clunky, manual, held-together-with-tape process without wanting to take it apart and rebuild it. For years my job was basically taking huge, intimidating technology changes and turning them into something a normal person could actually use on a Tuesday. And I saw it happen over and over: when the right tool shows up at the right time, people get their hours back and the business gets its margin back. That never gets old for me.

So when I started managing my own short-term rentals, I couldn't turn that part of my brain off, and what I found kind of floored me. Property management, for all its moving pieces, was running on the same fragmented, manual patchwork I'd spent my whole career pulling apart at the enterprise level. A dozen different tools. Copy-pasting the same information between them all day. Tasks falling through the cracks, guests waiting on replies, billable work that never made it onto an owner's statement. All the pieces were there, but nothing actually connected them. And the “all in one” options that claimed to were either too shallow to trust, painful to use, or priced like they were built for a Fortune 500 instead of a growing operator.

So I did the only thing that made sense to me: I built the system I wished I could buy. Meridian started as the platform to run my own business. Reservations, tasks, routing, guest messaging, a searchable home for all our property info, and billing, all in one place, with automation and AI running underneath the whole thing. It was never a side project or a pitch deck. It was how I actually ran the company, and I sharpened it every single day against real, messy, turning-units reality.

The belief that kept me building is a simple one. Software this good shouldn't only be for companies with enterprise budgets. It should be genuinely great and genuinely affordable, and it should bend to fit how you work instead of forcing you to fit it. That's what Meridian is, and that's why I'm all in on it.
